Cybersecurity Expertise Transformation Specialist

We are seeking a forward-thinking Cybersecurity Expertise Transformation Specialist to spearhead our Office of the Chief Information Security Officer. This pivotal role will reshape how we protect applications, software, and code, significantly enhancing cyber threat resilience. The ideal candidate will be a technical visionary, leveraging data-driven insights and risk-based approaches to drive strategic initiatives and foster cross-functional collaborations to deliver cutting-edge security solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Redefine application, software, and code protection methodologies to boost cyber threat resilience.
  • Pursue a data-driven strategy to inform enterprise initiatives, formulate requirements, patterns, and solutions for risk mitigation.
  • Serve as a technical influencer and build partnerships to deliver innovative security engineering and operational solutions.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to design secure software solutions, participate in proof-of-concepts, and ensure secure delivery.
  • Own and report on software security programs and initiatives to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Drive the transformation of security engineering into early phases of enterprise delivery through Secure SDLC, Source code management, application security, and DevSecOps.
  • Apply an everything-as-code security mindset to applications, APIs, and platform engineering.
  • Identify technical and business risks and define enterprise requirements for shared-responsibility engineering and operational controls.
  • Advocate for modern secure engineering principles and automation, driving transformation within the organization.
  • Evolve and mature the enterprise software security program using data-driven approaches to identify risks, publish metrics, and set cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, HITRUST, CSF, SafeCode, OWASP).
  • Contribute to and evolve security policies, standards, and Secure SDLC processes.
  • Develop and drive the company's software security strategy and roadmap.
  • Partner with software and platform engineering teams to promote DevSecOps solutions, establish secure code practices, improve automated CI/CD pipelines with security services, and automate enterprise security requirements.
  • Lead cloud application and platform security engineering practices and develop enterprise security patterns for software engineering.
  • Educate and promote engagement with modern secure software principles within the organization.
