As a key business finance professional, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of our organization.

Job Description:

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Prepare and analyze plant profit and loss statements (P&L), variance reports, and cost reduction initiatives to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
    • Drive monthly and annual financial closures, ensuring seamless integration with budgeting processes.
    • Oversee product costing (BOM-based), COGS/COGM, and standard vs. actual cost analysis to optimize efficiency.
    • Manage capex, RM, and opex budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, providing critical insights for informed decision-making.
    • Lead value engineering and cost optimization initiatives, focusing on material accounting best practices.
    • Monitor and control plant inventory (RM, WIP, FG, spares) to minimize obsolescence and optimize resource allocation.
    • Implement strategic inventory reduction strategies in collaboration with production, quality, SCM, HR, and engineering teams.
    • Develop and implement SAP-based reporting, automation, and controls (FICO/MM/SD modules) to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Identify process improvement opportunities and lead automation/efficiency projects to drive innovation.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide finance inputs for new product launches, capex proposals, and vendor management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of product costing, plant accounting, and management information systems (MIS).
  • Expertise in SAP (FICO/MM) and Microsoft Excel, with proficiency in creating financial dashboards.
  • Experience working in high-speed manufacturing environments with multiple plants.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and leadership skills.
  • Qualification: CA/CMA with 1-6 years of experience.
