Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls, with a passion for the agricultural sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the accounting and financial reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate and manage external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
  • Support tax planning and compliance activities, including the preparation and filing of tax returns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimize financial operations.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Qualifications
  • Qualified CA with 8 to 13 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards (Ind AS) and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record of managing complex financial processes and delivering accurate financial reports.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
