Position Overview:

The Senior R position at Flychem requires a highly skilled individual with expertise in chemical synthesis and encapsulation technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with our formulation, product development, and QA teams to develop innovative delivery systems for skincare and pharmaceutical actives.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Design and develop encapsulation systems using various techniques such as liposomes, nanostructured lipid carriers, and solid lipid nanoparticles
  • Conduct experiments and analyze results to optimize formulations for stability, compatibility, and delivery performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with lab safety protocols and applicable GLP/GMP standards

Requirements:

  • M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nanotechnology, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in chemical synthesis and encapsulation
  • Strong knowledge of encapsulation technologies for actives used in skincare or pharmaceuticals
