Job Title: Subeditor

We are seeking a highly skilled Subeditor with expertise in Marathi to join our editorial team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and proofread articles to ensure accuracy, clarity, and coherence.
  • Demonstrate exceptional command over Marathi, including grammar, vocabulary, and syntax.
  • Meet daily targets of delivering 8-10 original copies, maintaining high editorial standards.
  • Collaborate with writers, journalists, and other editorial team members to ensure content quality.
  • Manage and meet tight deadlines efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • 4-10 years of experience in a sub-editorial or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Marathi is mandatory.
  • A degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field is preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • 6 days a week work schedule.
  • Initial 3 months of Work From Home, followed by a hybrid work model with the office located in Maharashtra.

Additional Requirements:

  • Attention to detail to ensure all content is accurate and free of errors.
  • Maintain the originality and authenticity of the content.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
