The Oracle oTech Team seeks a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to lead the implementation and improvement of nearly all of Oracle's Enterprise and Cloud Applications. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience in performance tuning of complex systems, with expertise in application code tuning, Oracle Database Administration, and automation/scripting using Ansible/Terraform/ Python/Shell.


This is a unique opportunity to work with Oracle's world-class technology and contribute to the development, implementation, and support of Oracle's global infrastructure. As a member of the IT organization, the successful candidate will assist with the analysis of existing complex programs, formulate logic for new internal systems, and prepare conversion and system implementation plans.


The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, drive innovation, and excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Application or Oracle E-Business Suite Administration, DevOps/CICD, Big Data, Kafka, and ELK is beneficial but not essential.


This role will involve working with a global team to develop, implement, and support Oracle's global infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate confidently with peers and management, have strong global team working skills, and be able to adapt to a changing environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead the implementation and improvement of Oracle's Enterprise and Cloud Applications
  • Assist with the analysis of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new internal systems
  • Prepare conversion and system implementation plans
  • Develop, implement, and support Oracle's global infrastructure
  • Communicate confidently with peers and management
  • Work with a global team to develop, implement, and support Oracle's global infrastructure

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of experience in performance tuning of complex systems
  • Expertise in application code tuning, Oracle Database Administration, and automation/scripting using Ansible/Terraform/ Python/Shell

  • Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug database issues and software programs for commercial or end user applications
  • Writes code, completes programming for automation and performs testing and debugging of applications
  • Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture
  • Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs
  • Build and execute unit tests and unit plans
  • Review integration and regression test plans created by QA
  • Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent)
