Telecommunication Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecommunication Expert to join our team. As a Chief Expert-Telecommunication System, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our high-speed rail network.

The Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail corridor spans approximately 508 km with 12 planned stations between Mumbai and Sabarmati. The system will be operated using ETCS Level 2, with the main Operational Control Centre at Sabarmati and a functional OCC at Surat Depot, serving as a Backup Control Centre for redundancy and training.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure full compliance with ETCS Level 2 specifications, including subsystem verification, balises, RBCs, LEUs, and onboard units, in line with ERA TSI standards.
  • Validate configuration data for trackside and onboard components, and ensure traceability across version-controlled records.
  • Participate in closed-loop testing of ETCS components, covering radio communication, balise integrity, and fallback scenarios, including STM interfacing if relevant.
  • In case the OCC is inoperable, centralized control will be shifted to the BCC.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Total Experience Requirement: Overall 25 years in Infrastructure Projects.
  • Relevant Experience Requirement: Minimum 15 years in Telecommunication, Rail-based Transit.
  • Specific Experience Requirement: Minimum 5 years as in-charge Telecommunication, High-Speed Rail, 250 kmph.
