Job Title: Data Validation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Validation Specialist to join our team. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our data pipelines, analytics platforms, and reporting systems.

About the Role
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Snowflake and ThoughtSpot, with a strong focus on data quality, validation, and automation. You will be responsible for automating testing for data pipelines and ETL workflows in Snowflake, validating data models, transformations, and aggregations for accuracy, and building reconciliation tests between source systems and Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Automate testing for data pipelines and ETL workflows in Snowflake.
  • Validate data models, transformations, and aggregations for accuracy.
  • Build reconciliation tests between source systems and Snowflake.
  • Test and verify dashboards, reports, and analytics in ThoughtSpot.
  • Ensure metrics and KPIs in BI tools align with data definitions.

Required Skills & Qualifications
You must have 5+ years of experience in testing, with expertise as an SDET/Test Engineer using C#, Playwright, and MSTest. Practical experience with Snowflake (SQL queries, stored procedures, schema validation) is also essential. Familiarity with ThoughtSpot or similar BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) for report validation and testing is a plus. Strong knowledge of Page Object Model (POM) for UI automation and controller-based design for API testing is required. Experience embedding test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) is also necessary. Excellent communication skills and experience working in collaborative Agile teams are a must.
