Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Data Analytics Lead to spearhead our data-driven initiatives and drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies.

  • Spearhead cross-functional projects leveraging advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to uncover strategic opportunities and inform key business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain robust data models, reporting systems, and dashboards that support informed decision-making across the organization.
  • Design and implement technical processes to address business challenges and optimize data workflows.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality reports and insights that analyze business functions and key performance metrics.
  • Recruit, train, and develop analyst-level employees to foster a culture of excellence within the team.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of data and deliverables through comprehensive policies and processes.
  • Manage and optimize data intake, validation, mining, and engineering processes as well as modeling, visualization, and communication deliverables.
  • Examine, interpret, and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership, technology, sales, marketing, and product teams.
  • Oversee the data/report requests process: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
  • Develop and implement quality controls and departmental standards to ensure quality standards, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements.
Key Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data sources.
  • Strong SQL skills with ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.
  • Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units.
  • Experience and knowledge of statistical modeling techniques: GLM multiple regression, logistic regression, log-linear regression, variable selection, etc.
  • Experience writing advanced SAS code statements, models, and macros.
  • Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards using relevant data to inform decisions.
  • Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills.
