Backend Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned developer to join our expanding engineering team. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Java, microservices architecture, and hands-on experience in designing and building scalable high-performance backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java programming language.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs following OpenAPI Specifications best practices.
  • Contribute to end-to-end feature development including database design, service orchestration, and API integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and QA engineers.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and performance tuning sessions.
  • Evaluate application security and adhere to secure coding standards.
  • Develop and support CI/CD pipeline implementation using tools like GitLab or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Assist in infrastructure-as-code and deployments using AWS CDK (preferred).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience of 5–7 years in backend development with focus on microservices.
  • Solid understanding of REST API design and distributed system principles.
  • Familiarity with networking protocols and secure scalable service implementation.
  • Experience with performance tuning and observability in production-grade systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to lead technical discussions and mentor team members.
  • Strong project ownership and leadership skills, especially at MTS III level.
