Financial Reporting and Analysis

We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Accountant to join our finance team at Intelligence Node. The ideal candidate will have 2-7 years of experience in managing financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and auditing processes, with a focus on handling US finance and accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic business decision-making.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Compliance and Auditing

The successful candidate will ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and US accounting and tax regulations. They will coordinate and manage internal and external audits, liaising with auditors and regulatory authorities. Additionally, they will prepare and file tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate submission.

Budgeting and Forecasting

The Chartered Accountant will develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts. They will monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis. Furthermore, they will support strategic planning by providing financial insights and projections.

Internal Controls

The ideal candidate will implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets. They will identify and mitigate financial risks. Additionally, they will conduct regular reviews and updates of financial policies and procedures.

Financial Operations

The Chartered Accountant will oversee accounts payable and receivable processes. They will manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure financial stability. Furthermore, they will supervise payroll processing and ensure compliance with payroll regulations.

Advisory and Support

The successful candidate will provide financial advice and guidance to senior management. They will support business units with financial planning and analysis. Additionally, they will assist in the evaluation of investment opportunities and financial feasibility studies.

Team Leadership

The Chartered Accountant will lead and mentor junior accounting staff. They will foster a collaborative and high-performing finance team environment. Furthermore, they will provide training and development opportunities for the team members.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and US GAAP.
  • US Payroll.

Education:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • Expertise in accounting principles and financial reporting as a chartered accountant.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

This position is based out in Mumbai, and the candidate should be based in Mumbai or willing to relocate. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience.
