Quantum Developer Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned quantum developer to fill this key position. As a quantum developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing quantum algorithms for various use cases across different manufacturing domains.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement quantum algorithms for specific use cases (on different problem types – crypto, optimization, AI/ML, simulation)
  • Develop hybrid quantum-classical solutions using various quantum frameworks/SDK's like Qiskit, Pennylane, Bracket
  • Deploy and test the solutions on different quantum simulators and hardware from different providers like D-wave, IBM, IonQ etc
  • Design mathematical models for optimization problems (MILP, LP, NLP etc.)
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand problem requirements and model constraints, objectives & variables
  • Implement the model(s) using solvers like Cplex, Gurobi etc
  • Benchmark results from quantum solutions against classical methods
  • Explore new tools/frameworks/products launched in quantum computing space
