Microsoft Data Engineering Expert

We are seeking an accomplished Microsoft data engineer to spearhead the development of cutting-edge data solutions. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing end-to-end data architectures using Microsoft's flagship products, including Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and Power BI.

  • Data Architecture & Engineering
  • Design and implement contemporary data architecture patterns (e.g., medallion, DataMesh, Zone-Based, or Lambda)
  • Build scalable data pipelines for real-time, batch, and BYOD processing

Data Modeling & Analytics

  • Create semantic models and dimensional models in Power BI
  • Develop enterprise dashboards, paginated reports, and self-service analytics solutions
  • Implement row-level security, complex DAX measures, and model optimizations

Platform Operations & Governance

  • Apply DataOps practices, monitoring, and performance tuning
  • Ensure data security, quality, and governance
  • Integrate predictive analytics with Azure ML where required

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of data engineering experience with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies
  • Expertise in SQL, T-SQL, Spark SQL, Python/Scala, DAX, and Power Query (M)
  • Experience with real-time streaming and batch processing
  • Proven track record in implementing medallion architecture and enterprise BI solutions

Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate / Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate / Power BI Data Analyst Associate
  • Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or related field (master's preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills
