Senior Test Engineer - XR Software Stack

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineer to support testing efforts for our XR software stack and adjacent technologies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Windows, Linux, and Android, as well as proficiency in C/C++/Python programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate XR technologies, systems, and devices through thorough testing, logging, and analysis.
  • Create test environments using software and hardware tools.
  • Develop test procedures, execute tests, and isolate problems effectively.
  • Design and develop automation systems for executing tests and parsing results efficiently.
  • Develop high-quality app/test content for exercising new features.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, and 2+ years of experience in Software Test Engineering or a related field.
  • Expertise in Augmented/Virtual Reality technologies, including 6DOF tracking, OpenXR, OpenVR, and WebXR.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication and team working skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with developing 3D experiences – games/apps using SDKs like Unity and Unreal.
  • Proficiency in Video technologies - Video Decode & Encode techniques.
  • Data analysis, automation, and scripting – Python programming.
