Job Opportunity

This role involves providing strategic tax guidance to clients on mergers, acquisitions, and business transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed quantitative analysis to support clients throughout the business lifecycle
  • Manage seamless execution of plans and apply effective structuring strategies to achieve commercial and strategic goals
  • Ideate tax structuring options for multinational clients and evaluate India inbound structuring options
  • Manage end-to-end regulatory compliance processes for acquisitions and coordinate implementation of subsequent mergers and consolidations across India
  • Plan tax due diligence work and advise clients in negotiating transaction terms and documents based on findings
  • Devise practical approaches to resolving tax issues in structuring assignments and conduct comprehensive reviews of business operations to identify tax planning opportunities and compliance gaps
Client Management & Business Development
  • Proactively communicate with clients, sharing updates and developments on assignment progress
  • Act as central point of contact, liaising with client stakeholders, Partners, local stakeholders, and team members
  • Develop and maintain relationships with CFOs and Tax Directors, creating high-quality professional networks
Revenue Generation
  • Identify new business opportunities in existing clients by tracking developments at the client end, tax arena, and industry trends
  • Build credibility and deliver high-quality solutions while building rapport with key stakeholders to ensure repeat business
Knowledge & Brand Management
  • Understand tax compliance landscape and ideate ways to use technology to improve compliance process
  • Acquire industry insights to improvise current services and develop content for networking in external events and seminars
People Management
  • Provide guidance to team members, proactively enabling them to deliver on assignments
  • Identify challenges and provide solutions to overcome them quickly
  • Track team performance and share continuous feedback, assessing individual and team performance on closure of assignment
Client Delivery
  • Review available information and assess data/documents required from client, researching and scrutinizing all aspects of assignment
  • Support Partners by drafting memo's, opinions, and reports, building strong client relationship and understanding their requirements and business
