Job Overview

As a Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist at NTT DATA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' IT infrastructure and systems. This involves proactive monitoring, identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems to restore service to our clients. Your primary objective will be to proactively review client requests or tickets and apply technical/process knowledge to resolve them without breaching service level agreements (SLAs). This role focuses on second-line support for incidents and requests with a medium level of complexity, covering multiple technology domains including Cloud, Security, Networking, Applications, and Collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configurational changes, creating, maintaining, and monitoring policies and on-boarding processes.
  • Performing backup activities according to required schedules and bank policies.
  • Performing health-checks of servers and applications to ensure easy restoration in case of failures.
  • Proactive monitoring and maintaining appliances to ensure uptime according to SLA.
  • Troubleshooting performance-related issues in the bank's internal network.
  • Customizing and automating reports.
  • Identifying problem areas and planning corrective actions before services get affected.
  • Creating a knowledge base and KEDB (Known Error Database) for internal users.
  • Periodic updates and patch management for deployed hardware and servers.
  • Application/Host integration in tools.
  • Coordination with OEM in troubleshooting issues and completing new requirements.
  • Configuration changes on deployed applications according to Cyber Security Policy and ensuring best Cyber Security Practices to keep systems away from vulnerabilities.
  • Working in a 24x7 environment.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in NBA Solution, with a minimum of 3 years.
  • Academic qualifications: BE/BTECH in Computers/IT/Electronics or ME/MTECH in Computers/IT/Electronics or Post-Graduation in Computers/IT/Electronics.
  • Mandatory certifications: CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISA, CISM, CISSP, and CCNP Security.
