Job Overview

Career opportunities exist for experienced software developers who are skilled in building and deploying scalable applications using Ruby on Rails.

About the Role:

  • Work on large-scale applications, focusing on high-performance, reliability, scalability, and security as critical design goals.
  • Design intuitive and interactive web applications using rich client-side and REST-based server-side code.
  • Implement Microservices Architecture, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) in real-world applications.
  • Gain experience with various database technologies including SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, and MySQL.
  • Collaborate with a team of top engineers to work on complex Software as a Service (SaaS) based applications.

Requirements:

Key Skills:

  • 4 to 7 years of software development experience with expertise in shipping software.
  • Hands-on programming experience with Ruby on Rails and Node.js including Object Oriented Design.
  • Experience with MVC, Web forms Framework.
  • Contribution to architecture and design including Design Patterns, Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs).
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or related databases is an asset.
  • Queuing technology experience such as RabbitMQ/Kafka/AWS SQS.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment and result-oriented culture.

Preferred Skills:

  • RESTful Web Services and API development using Ruby on Rails or other Node.js frameworks.
  • Full-stack development from front-end user interfaces to backend systems.
  • JavaScript + React Js/TypeScript and Graph Query Language (GQL) knowledge.
  • Elasticsearch/Solr experience.
  • Cloud Computing platforms like AWS/GCP/Azure Cloud experience.
