Agile Coach - Scrum Master

The Agile Coach - Scrum Master will play a pivotal role in our software development process by guiding cross-functional teams to execute portfolio initiatives within an Agile release train framework.

  • Provide coaching and guidance to Scrum Teams on the implementation of Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products and services.
  • Facilitate and support all Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
  • Resolve impediments, escalating issues as needed, while fostering collaboration between teams.
  • Ensure teams are prepared for sprint demos, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to help teams create and execute sprints effectively.
  • Monitor adherence to assigning hours and story points at the sprint level.
  • Maintain regular interactions with other Scrum Masters or Product Owners to deliver features, epics, and stories as requested by stakeholders.
  • Verify adherence to the Definition of Done (DoD).
  • Align sprint output with Release Management for production delivery.

Requirements

  • Scrum Master Certification (CSM) is mandatory.
  • Experience working with data-centric Scrum Teams or data-focused projects is required.
  • A solid understanding of cloud deployment pipelines, IaC workflows, and common cloud service dependencies, along with release management processes, is desired.
  • Awareness of migration timelines, infrastructure setups, data refresh cycles, and performance testing requirements is also beneficial.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of Scrum Master experience is preferred.
  • Experience with SAFe methodology is a plus.
  • Demonstration of strong analytical skills is desirable.
  • Experience in the Financial Industry is advantageous.
