Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled UI Designer with expertise in JavaScript, Angular, and TypeScript to join our team at Luxoft.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be a key member of our telecom test solution engineering team, working on a family of products used for functional, system integration, capacity and stress testing in the lab.

Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in the development life cycle, from specification writing to design, implementation, and testing, ensuring high-quality work.
  2. Deliver new features from design to development and testing, prototyping where necessary.
  3. Ensure the product's Quality and Performance through automated tests integrated within a Continuous Integration system.
  4. Find and alleviate architectural bottlenecks, providing solutions that benefit our customers.
  5. Expose the product's features and capabilities through a configuration and management interface.
  6. Make our solution smarter, easier to integrate, and more able to diagnose issues.
  7. Work effectively with the Test & Verification team to resolve issues.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of professional experience in UI design or related roles, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design processes.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
  • Experience in creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Understanding of UI frameworks like Material Design, Bootstrap, etc.
  • Good knowledge of HTML and CSS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Angular.
  • Ability to maintain design consistency and adhere to branding guidelines.
  • Familiarity with UX design principles and processes, responsive design, and agile development environments.
  • Good spoken and written English.

Preferred Skills:

  • Usability Testing, User Research, Animation, Microinteractions, Design Systems, OOP JS, Ajax, software design patterns, and modern Angular technology.
  • Strong knowledge of Single Page Applications, migration, and new features development.
  • Version control, Continuous Integration, and experience with networking or telecom domain solutions.
