Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Insights Architect to design and implement AI-powered search and discovery solutions using Azure Cognitive Search and related AI services. This role will enable natural language insights from structured and unstructured data, reports, and dashboards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop cognitive search solutions using Azure Cognitive Search and related AI services.
  • Create pipelines to ingest, index, and enrich data from diverse sources (databases, reports, dashboards, documents).
  • Enable natural language query capabilities for business users to interact with enterprise data.
  • Integrate semantic search, embeddings, and generative AI techniques for advanced insights.
  • Collaborate with business teams to define use cases in finance, operations, and reporting.
  • Partner with data lake and ADF pipeline teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Adopt agile, iterative delivery to validate and scale solutions rapidly.
  • Ensure compliance, data security, and ethical AI usage in search solutions.
  • Mentor team members on AI search and NLP best practices.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Azure Cognitive Search, Cognitive Services, and AI/ML frameworks.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data integration for search indexing.
  • Familiarity with embeddings, NLP, and vector search technologies.
  • Experience connecting search solutions to BI tools, reports, and dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of data governance and enterprise data management.
