As a Memory Validation Engineer, you will play a key role in the validation of memory design.
- Lead validation of memory compilers and custom macros in cutting-edge process technologies.
- Perform functional verification, root cause analysis, and resolution of discrepancies.
- Conduct signal integrity analysis, identify weaknesses, and propose solutions to address them.
- Run transistor level simulations to check for Power Up or Lock up issues and resolve them.
- Validate timing and internal margins through transistor level simulations, identify characterization holes, and resolve them.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Expertise in development of memory macros and architectures.
- Good understanding of transistor level circuit behavior and analysis.
- Understanding of layout challenges in sub-nanometer process technologies.
- Knowledge of signal integrity, EM IR, and reliability analysis.
- Familiarity with memory behavioral and physical models.
- Understanding of DFT Schemes and chip-level integration.
- Proficiency in running transistor level simulators and writing automation scripts.
- Hands-on experience with Cadence schematic layout editor tools and transistor level simulators like HSPICE, HSIM, XA, FineSim, XARA, nWave, etc.
- Experience with scripting languages like Perl and Python is a plus.
