About the Role

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Support Engineer to support and develop enterprise-grade billing applications.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in supporting complex applications, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth execution of build and run activities.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise billing applications with high precision and efficiency.
  • Working on ServiceNow tickets – incident, request, and change management to provide seamless support.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving application issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • Writing and optimizing code in various programming languages such as IBM Informix 4GL, Java, C#, VB.NET, and Shell scripting to achieve optimal results.
  • Ensuring the smooth execution of build and run activities to meet project deadlines.
  • Providing expert-level support for billing-related processes and systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Participating in on-call standby support during weekends or EU business hours to provide round-the-clock support.

Must-Have Skills include:

  • Strong coding ability in multiple programming languages including IBM Informix 4GL, Java, C#, VB.NET, and Shell scripting.
  • Experience in troubleshooting Informix errors and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Prior experience in billing applications and a strong understanding of billing workflows to ensure seamless integration.
  • Hands-on experience in supporting enterprise-scale applications to meet high-performance standards.
  • Ability to work in rotational shifts (including EU time zone coverage) to accommodate diverse needs.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field to demonstrate a solid foundation in software development and technology.
  • Any certification in Java, Informix, or related technologies would be beneficial to enhance skills and knowledge.
