Agile Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Agile project manager to spearhead our technical projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles, as well as experience in facilitating Scrum ceremonies and coaching teams on Agile best practices.

In addition to managing Agile projects, the ideal candidate will also possess strong business analysis skills, including collaboration with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for data warehouse and data services projects.

The role requires excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.

The successful candidate will work closely with the team, stakeholders, and other departments to ensure a well-groomed and prioritized backlog.

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
  • Coach the team on Agile best practices and principles.
  • Remove impediments and foster a collaborative, self-organizing team environment.
  • Track and communicate team metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.) to stakeholders.

Business Analysis Duties:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for data warehouse and data services projects.
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Work with data architects, engineers, and QA to ensure requirements are understood and delivered accurately.
  • Develop process flows, data mappings, and other documentation as needed.
  • Support data quality initiatives and help define data governance standards.
  • Assist in user acceptance testing and validation of data solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as an Agile project manager in a technical environment.
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
