Job Title: Data Analyst

We are seeking an experienced data analyst to join our team. As a data analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining robust processes related to data setup, storage, and distribution, as well as system configuration.

You will work closely with stakeholders such as Front Office, Middle Office, Audit, Compliance, and Regulatory to ensure the bank's response to regulatory requirements is effective.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of data operations and be able to generate reports from data interpretation. You will also have experience in managing through regulatory and internal/external audits.

In addition to your technical skills, you will have good communication skills and be able to interact with the Middle Office and/or Clients to ensure timely and accurate processing of all life cycle events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process data input and approval of account opening, maintenance process in downstream systems.
  • Ensure processing guidelines (KOP) are followed with diligence and monitor mailboxes in terms of processing and queries.
  • Participate in employee engagement activities and contribute to regular meetings.
  • Complete mandatory trainings within specified time frames.
  • Plan leaves and breaks in line with process deliverables and provide timely updates on HR-Workday.
  • Meet productivity targets of 100% and ensure two-eye processing is completed within agreed SLAs and accuracy rates.
  • Assist the team and review KOP.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant field.
  • 0.6 to 6 years of work experience in corporate banking.
  • Setting up accounts and instruments in Clearvision, Globe, Consensys, GMI, etc.
  • Resolving queries related to commissions and other static data issues.
  • Updating commissions and fees as per ticket raised by respective teams.
  • Understanding purpose of process performed, key risks, and mitigating controls.
  • Capable of identifying process or control failure points and escalating for remediation.
  • Good understanding of functions performed by underlying systems used in the process.
  • Experience of managing through regulatory and internal/external audits.
  • Basic knowledge of banking operations/financial products (fixed income cash & derivatives financial products and financial instruments including futures, options, swaps).
  • Microsoft Office/Suite proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Able to work well and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
