Network Documentation Specialist
We are seeking an experienced professional to create and implement a structured documentation framework for our network across multiple sites.
The primary focus is to establish templates and organization for as-built diagrams, contact information, runbooks, and design guidelines.
This role involves working closely with the network team to gather existing data, convert designs into standardized templates, and train the team on maintaining and expanding the documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Create a structured conventions framework for documenting network details in Confluence.
Design and develop standardized templates for site documentation, runbooks, and design guidelines.
Convert existing network design data into Lucid templates aligned with the new structure.
Collaborate with the network team to gather data, understand site-specific details, and accurately represent the current network state.
Pilot the documentation process on a subset of sites, serving as an example and training model for the team to follow for remaining and new sites.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong experience with network documentation and designing structured documentation frameworks.
Experience using Confluence as a documentation platform.
Familiarity with Lucid chart or similar diagramming tools for network design templates.
