Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Leader to oversee the development and certification of embedded software for safety-critical applications. This role will be responsible for leading technical design and architecture, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.


Key Responsibilities
  • NPI (New Product Introduction)
    • Evaluate and recommend technologies for new product development
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technology selection and innovation
    • Lead proposal authorship for funding and key decisions in product development
  • Product Technical Leadership
    • Lead Product Technical Council during PDR, CDR, and other compliance reviews
    • Contribute to shaping strategic direction by providing inputs into STRAP, GSF, and PAC
    • Develop competitive intelligence by identifying industry gaps and innovating new features
  • Process Management & Best Practices
    • Implement innovative solutions to elevate product quality
    • Optimize development processes through collaboration and technical expertise

Requirements
  • Technical Expertise
    • Strong expertise in embedded systems and safety-critical applications, including real-time operating systems
    • Deep experience in system-level software architecture, including design patterns, algorithms, and software integration
    • In-depth understanding of DO-178B/C, DO-254, and safety-critical certification processes
  • Leadership & Collaboration
    • Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams spread across different sites and geographies
    • Able to mentor junior engineers, guide their growth, and shape a collaborative work culture
    • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams across different business units and geographies
  • Strategic & Innovative Thinking
    • Ability to drive strategic initiatives, shape product roadmaps, and identify future technology trends
    • Proactively innovate within the team, constantly seeking competitive advantages and new technologies
