Are you passionate about logical problems and abstract thinking? We are looking for PhD-level researchers in physics to test the reasoning capabilities of large language models.
The goal is to measure how well these models handle structured problem-solving. You'll create physics problems, analyze model responses, and identify gaps in logic or understanding.
A day in your life would involve creating complex physics problems, reviewing AI solutions, and sharing insights on model performance.
Some examples of tasks include:
Calculating the probability of a high-energy pion decaying within a certain distance from its origin.
Defining the last return time to zero and the time spent on the positive axis as fractions of total time for 1D Brownian motion.
You'll need:
- A Ph.D. or Postdoctoral degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a related field.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback with examples.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Stable computer and internet access.
Eligibility: Currently enrolled or have completed a Ph.D. or Postdoctoral degree in a relevant field.
Time Commitment & Contract Details:
- Commitments Required: At least 4 hours per day and minimum 20 hours per week with 4 hours of overlap with PST.
- Engagement Type: Contractor assignment/freelancer.
- Duration of contract: 1 month.
- Selection Process: Task-based assessment for shortlisted candidates followed by a contract offer with defined timelines and workload.
