Tax Data Specialist Lead

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Tax Data Specialist Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tax data solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze tax data contained in databases to identify transformation and reporting issues with existing data and proposed system tools.
  • Document detailed specifications for each report, including technical specifications and a summary of the report.
  • Create and edit Alteryx workflows to automate tax data manipulation and generate outputs designed according to requirements.
  • Develop dynamic reports that enable end-users to filter and aggregate defined parameters according to their needs and create custom reports.
  • Create report subscriptions, dashboards, etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Able to maintain and manage several projects while meeting expectations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Suite including Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Fabric, Alteryx, SQL Server, Power Query, and Power BI.

Action Items:

  • Proactively identify and communicate dependencies, issues, risks, and barriers to completing assignments.
  • Escalate to appropriate project stakeholders and supervisors as needed.
  • Accountable for supporting and contributing to the management of project scope, schedule, and quality within the respective team/area.
  • Test and document tax data solutions.
