EDI Specialist Position

We are seeking an experienced EDI specialist to fill a key role within our organization.

In this position, you will be responsible for designing and managing EDIFECS workflows, building and validating HIPAA-compliant X12 transactions, and integrating EDI solutions with FACETS modules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Manage EDIFECS Workflows: Utilize SpecBuilder, TPF, XEngine, and Route Manager to create and manage EDIFECS workflows that meet business requirements.
  • Build and Validate HIPAA-Compliant X12 Transactions: Develop and test HIPAA-compliant X12 transactions for 834, 837, 835, 270/271, and 276/277.
  • Integrate EDI Solutions with FACETS Modules: Integrate EDI solutions with FACETS core modules, including Claims, Enrollment, Billing, and Provider.
  • Support EDI Interface Development and Partner Onboarding: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement EDI interfaces and onboard partners.
  • Perform Data Extraction, Transformation, and Reconciliation: Extract, transform, and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with QA, Business Analysts, and Dev Teams: Work collaboratively with QA, business analysts, and dev teams to ensure successful deployments.
  • Maintain Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation to support Agile delivery processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: Possess a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 5+ Years in Healthcare EDI & Integration: Have at least 5 years of experience in healthcare EDI and integration.
  • Expertise in EDIFECS and X12 Transactions: Possess expertise in EDIFECS (SpecBuilder, XEngine, Route Manager, TPF) and X12 transactions (834, 837, 835, etc.).
  • FACETS Core Modules and SQL: Have knowledge of FACETS core modules and intermediate SQL.
  • Strong Troubleshooting and Payer Workflow Knowledge: Possess strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of payer workflow.
  • Data Formats: Flat Files, XML, JSON, X12: Be familiar with data formats, including flat files, XML, JSON, and X12.
