Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and automated) to ensure high-quality software products.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tracking tools.
  • Develops testing documents such as STD, STR, SDD, SRS to standardize testing processes.
  • Perform regression, functional, integration, performance, and usability testing to ensure software meets requirements.
  • Set up and maintain automation frameworks for continuous testing and CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency.
  • Create and execute appropriate test strategies and processes that align with business objectives and project timelines.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices, tools, and technologies for quality assurance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience 3–5 years as a QA Engineer with strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language - Java, Python, JavaScript.
  • Experience with version control systems e.g., Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Experience with API testing - Postman, RestAssured.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools - JMeter, LoadRunner.
  • Exposure to cloud environments AWS, Azure, GCP and containerised applications Docker, Kubernetes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required. Certification in QA testing will be an advantage.
