Job Description

As a technical leader, you will have overall responsibility to oversee and develop projects with clients across multiple industry sectors focused on control system design, process controls, and information solutions scope.

You will require hands-on technical expertise and mentorship responsibilities to develop the next generation of electrical, controls information solutions engineers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and optimizing control systems for process industries and packaging machinery.
  • Providing technical solutions for complex automation challenges across multiple manufacturing platforms.
  • Developing and maintaining electrical and control system standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving critical control system issues across various manufacturing platforms.
  • Executing system improvements to enhance equipment efficiency, reliability, and product quality.
  • Implementing industrial networking solutions and integrating various control systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in selection and use of control system hardware.
  • Expert-level knowledge in PLC, HMI, and SCADA system design, programming, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of industrial networks and communication protocols.
  • Proven experience with motion control systems and servo applications.
  • Expert knowledge in selection of motors, motor controllers or drives, calculation of motor horsepower, torque, speed range, reduction ratios, etc.
  • Selection of sensor technologies applicable to the desired type of measurement and good knowledge in sensor characteristics.
  • Conversant with codes, standards, and regulations like UL, IEC, ANSI, ISA, NEC, NEMA, and NFPA.
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and IIoT Technologies.
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Integration.
