We are seeking a highly motivated Trainee Research Associate to fill this role. You will be responsible for the synthesis, purification, and characterization of chemical intermediates contributing to drug discovery projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Synthesize, purify, and characterize chemical compounds.
  • Deliver small to large quantities of novel chemical entities for research projects.
  • Work collaboratively in a team to drive chemistry projects forward.
  • Adapt to and maintain knowledge of laboratory safety practices.
  • Work in a dynamic research environment with enthusiasm.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent knowledge of basic organic chemistry including reaction mechanisms, name reactions, and functional group transformations.
  • Good knowledge of molarity, normality, and equivalency.
  • Practical experience in thin-layer chromatography column purification, and extraction.
  • Good understanding of analytical techniques such as NMR IR and mass spectrometry.
  • Strong soft and scientific communication skills.

Qualification Requirements:

  • M.Sc. in Chemistry Organic Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or a related field or M. Pharma Specialized in Organic Synthesis.
