As a Senior Search Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing search solutions that meet the needs of our data engine. Your expertise in Elasticsearch and OpenSearch will enable you to architect advanced search features using custom analysers, tokenisers, and scoring algorithms.

You will work closely with data engineers and product teams to deliver high-quality search experiences. To succeed in this role, you must have 5+ years of experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch in production environments.

A strong understanding of search concepts is essential, including analysers, tokenisers, relevance tuning, custom scoring, and query DSL. Experience with index template management, lifecycle policies, and large-scale data modelling is also required.

In addition to your technical skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
