Senior Frontend Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to develop and scale high-traffic e-commerce experiences for our client.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in architecting, coding, and optimizing modern React/Next.js applications that are fast, accessible, secure, and resilient.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop large-scale production React/Next.js web applications for e-commerce.
  • Implement Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG), API routes/middleware, and reusable component libraries.
  • Integrate RESTful and GraphQL services, and model clean contracts with backend teams.
  • Own state management and performance tuning using React Query, Redux, and Zustand.
  • Drive Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), testing, and release quality, championing accessibility and security best practices.
  • Collaborate across Product, Design, and DevOps teams, leading code reviews and mentoring engineers.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in web development.
  • 5+ years of experience with React.js and/or Next.js, including Hooks (useState, useEffect, useContext, useRef, useMemo, useCallback).
  • 5+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, with deep knowledge of modern tooling.
  • 3+ years of experience in architecting large-scale, high-traffic e-commerce apps.
  • 2+ years of experience designing and implementing REST and/or GraphQL.
  • 2+ years of experience in cloud computing (preferably GCP).
  • 2+ years of experience in CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Strong performance optimization, debugging, and observability skills.
Nice to Have:
  • Healthcare domain exposure and compliance knowledge.
  • Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
  • SEO, Web Vitals, micro-frontends, and Vercel/Cloud Run experience.
