We are seeking an experienced Breakwater Specialist to lead our port development project in Trivandrum, Kerala.

This exciting opportunity is perfect for a skilled professional with expertise in coastal and marine engineering, hydrodynamics, and coastal erosion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Breakwater System Design and Construction: Develop and implement effective breakwater systems to protect port infrastructure.
  • Project Management: Oversee port expansion projects ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget, and quality standards.
  • Coastal and Marine Engineering: Apply knowledge of hydrodynamics, coastal erosion, and sediment transport to optimize breakwater and shoreline protection systems.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with government bodies, environmental agencies, contractors, and consultants to ensure project success and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Safety and Environmental Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health and safety guidelines and sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact during construction.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in breakwater construction, port development, or coastal engineering projects.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing breakwater systems, including knowledge of materials, hydrodynamics, and coastal processes.
  • Ability to manage large teams and collaborate across departments to meet project goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in challenging coastal environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.E. (Civil Engineering) or equivalent.
  • Coastal Engineering Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience working in the Kerala region or on Indian port development projects.
