About the Role:
As an Electrical Commissioning Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and organizing on-site commissioning activities with customer requirements and supporting claim management. You will also carry out full function tests and all necessary commissioning activities to bring packages into service and hand them over to customers.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Planning and organizing on-site commissioning activities with customer requirements and supporting claim management.
- Carrying out full function tests and all necessary commissioning activities to bring packages into service and hand them over to customers.
- Clarifying necessary design and software changes and carrying out modifications as authorized to fulfill required specifications if required.
- Conducting all work as required to EHS policy in Siemens Energy.
- Briefing/debriefing with PM, engineering, and other departments as required to feedback problems encountered and solutions implemented whilst commissioning.
- Maintaining a full log of commissioning activities and recording any customer delays during commissioning; completing a concise report.
- Carrying out specialist troubleshooting activities worldwide.
- Training customer personnel during commissioning.

Requirements:
- Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering with 3-8 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in medium/large captive/utility power plants.
- Fault diagnosis and problem-solving approach with awareness of all testing and calibration standards/requirements.
- Sound knowledge of handling various electrical equipment, including installation & commissioning.
- Experience with ABB/Siemens Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR), programming & configuration, including testing.
- Knowledge of relay protection principles and experience in relay testing.
- Knowledge and understanding of methods and procedures used in utility substation design, maintenance, protection, and control.
- Experience in the installation, testing, and maintenance of protection and control.
