Job Overview:

The Opscenter Core Expert plays a pivotal role in planning, designing, and developing the Opscenter application. This professional collaborates closely with operations teams to ensure seamless implementation and maintenance of the application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, configure, implement, develop, and maintain the Opscenter application to meet business needs.
  • Analyze, design, configure, develop, and test requested functionality in the development environment.
  • Install and configure high availability for Opscenter Core & Electronics.
  • Support operations teams in testing and accepting new changes in the Opscenter test environment.
  • Collaborate with DBA teams to migrate newly developed functionality to production with minimal impact.
  • Monitor the Opscenter application to ensure normal operation in the production line.
  • Maintain documentation for key applications.
  • Follow industry best practices for software development and company policies for Opscenter Core & Electronics.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams for MES projects and support activities.
  • Train junior or new team members and users as required.
  • Support analytics.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in planning, designing, configuring, developing, implementing, and maintaining Opscenter application.
  • Experience in leading and implementing 2 or more deployments of Siemens Opcenter implementations.
  • Proficiency in Modelling, Printing & Labeling Change, CIO setting, Portal Layout Changes, and Business Rules.
  • Experience and knowledge in Opscenter Core Designer.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
  • Master of Science in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent preferred.
