Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, task creation/allocation, and support to ensure team success. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, promoting innovation and continuous improvement. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for skills development and growth.
  • Project Management: Plan, prioritize, and delegate tasks effectively to meet project deadlines and milestones. Coordinate with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and timelines. Evaluate tasks done, monitor progress, troubleshoot blocking issues, and complex technical challenges.
  • iOS Development: Provide suggestions for user-friendly design and scalable architecture, maintainable, and high-performance iOS applications. Performance evaluation and optimization using XCode tools (desirable). Exceptional debugging skills, write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and industry standards. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain unit testing processes to ensure the reliability and stability of iOS applications. Collaborate with QA engineers to identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and other software defects.
  • Technical Leadership: Stay updated on the latest iOS development trends, tools, and technologies, and assess their applicability to our projects. Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team, helping to solve complex technical challenges and making architectural decisions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience 8+ years in iOS development, with a strong portfolio of published iOS applications. Previous experience 2+ years in a leadership or management role, preferably leading a team of iOS developers. Expertise in Swift and/or SwiftUI programming languages, as well as iOS SDK, UIKit, and other relevant frameworks. Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and version control systems (e.g., Git). Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Experience with continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and automated testing frameworks (e.g., XCTest, XCUITest). Familiarity with backend technologies, APIs, and web services is a plus. Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
