Job Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished Software Quality Assurance Leader to spearhead quality processes in software development.

  • Quality Audits & Assessments: Collaborate with Assessment Teams to ensure seamless CMMI certification journeys and lead/participate in ISO 9001 audits.
  • Process Excellence: Design, implement, and monitor software development quality processes aligned with industry standards and methodologies.
  • Compliance & Standards: Maintain alignment with ISO 9001, CMMI, and related frameworks while conducting internal/external quality audits.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate software-related risks throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive process enhancements, corrective actions, and adoption of best practices across teams.
  • Training & Enablement: Deliver sessions on quality practices, Root Cause Analysis, Agile, and risk management.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: 6-10 years in the software industry, with a minimum of 6 years in software development (preferably product companies or IT services).
  • Focused on development project quality processes (not support/maintenance/ITES).
  • At least 75% of career experience in Tier-1 firms (if from IT services).
  • Background: Bachelor's/Bachelor of Technology degree, started career as a software developer with hands-on coding experience.
  • Certifications: CMMI Assessment Team Member; ISO Lead Assessor preferred.
  • Methodologies: Strong knowledge of CMMI for Development, Agile, awareness of Waterfall.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, analytical ability.
