Project Manager - Telecoms

Job Summary:

Our organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the closeout process across various project stages, ensuring accuracy and completeness of project documentation. The successful candidate will be responsible for anticipating and coordinating all steps necessary for project closeout, ensuring compliance with established procedures and timelines.

  • Maintain and update project data in designated planning tools while collaborating with project controls team members.
  • Oversee return of confirmed surplus materials through RMA process.
  • Establish regular communication with assigned Video Quality Auditor and Project Controls team to facilitate accurate true-up and turnover documentation.
  • Assist scoping team in promoting RFDS for scopes where drone inspections are not required.
  • Review subcontractor material purchase order requests for potential cost recovery and forward to scoping team as necessary.
  • Own final turnover package, reviewing deliverables submitted by General Contractor.
  • Act as sole approver for closeout processes in PeopleSoft.

Key Responsibilities Continued:

Manage JVizion tasks and data fields associated with turnover processes. Occasionally follow up on punch list items. Monitor EHS tasks to achieve desired outcomes.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years of industry experience required.
  • Good understanding of engineering concepts and MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
  • Relevant experience in wireless technology and telecommunications required.
  • Engineering certification in related discipline preferred.
  • Working knowledge of industry standard materials preferred.

Education:

A recognised degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent years of work experience is required.
