Senior Software Engineer for Database Driver Development

We are seeking a skilled Software Professional to contribute to the development of SQL Server Client drivers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent execution skills, with the ability to improve the performance, reliability, maintainability, and usability of these drivers.

This role emphasizes technical expertise and the ability to mentor peers in technical matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain features in one of our SDK's or develop a new SDK as needed.
  • Collaborate with program and product managers to prioritize customer asks.
  • Analyze telemetry data to assess the health of our product and drive improvements.

Additionally, you will work closely with your team to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently and ensure best practices are adhered to.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field AND 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
  • Prior experience with Rust, ODBC, JDBC, and database drivers is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
