Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Automation Specialist to spearhead the development of our test automation framework.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both manual and automated testing, with a proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks.
- Design and develop automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin) principles.
- Perform both manual and automated testing to ensure product quality across web, API, and integration layers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Core Automation Skills:
- Selenium WebDriver (Advanced): Expertise in custom waits, element handling, and synchronization techniques.
- BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin): Ability to write business-readable feature files and map steps correctly for reusability and modularity.
- Java (or framework language): Strong OOP concepts (inheritance, abstraction, polymorphism) and clean code practices with SOLID principles.
Additional Skills:
- Hands-on experience with manual testing (functional, regression, smoke, UAT).
- Experience in API testing using Postman/RestAssured.
- Strong understanding of test planning, test design, and defect management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in QA, with at least 2+ years in automation testing.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
