Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing scalable, efficient, and reliable backend systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop distributed systems architecture using event-driven choreography patterns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate services and ensure seamless communication between microservices.
  • Develop and deploy backend services using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies such as PubSub, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run.
  • Implement RPC-style APIs and work with serialization formats like Avro for schema design and validation.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous communication, and event orchestration without central control.
  • Hands-on experience with Python development and GCP SDKs.
  • Familiarity with schema design and serialization formats such as Avro and ProtobufJSON.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
