Backend Developer Role

As a Backend Developer at a forward-thinking organization, you will be working on an innovative cybersecurity platform that combines AI and incident response. Our team is building cutting-edge systems using microservices architecture, AI orchestration, and best-in-class engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop backend services using Node.js and TypeScript in a monorepo setup with PNPM to ensure scalability and maintainability.
  • Work with PostgreSQL as the primary database and TypeORM as the ORM layer to streamline data management.
  • Implement Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Repository Pattern, and other architectural best practices to promote clean code and efficient development.
  • Write unit tests and ensure code quality through proper testing strategies to guarantee the reliability of our systems.
  • Build scalable microservices with a strong focus on dependency injection and modular design to enhance flexibility and reusability.
  • Contribute to AI orchestration flows using LangChain and LangGraph in JavaScript to automate complex tasks and improve productivity.
Requirements
  • 0–2 years of backend development experience with a passion for learning and growth.
  • Strong knowledge of Node.js with TypeScript, including advanced concepts and best practices.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL, TypeORM, and basic SQL concepts to effectively manage and manipulate data.
  • Understanding of unit testing and test-driven development principles to ensure the quality and reliability of our codebase.
  • Exposure to Domain-Driven Design, repository pattern, and clean architecture is highly desirable.
  • Basic understanding of microservices and API design principles to develop robust and maintainable systems.
  • Experience with dependency injection frameworks in Node.js to simplify complex system interactions.
  • (Good to have) Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, or AI orchestration concepts to leverage AI capabilities.
  • (Bonus) Some experience or exposure to cybersecurity, incident response, or breach handling to contribute to the development of secure systems.
  • (Nice-to-have) Basic knowledge of ReactJS to enhance the overall user experience.
