Senior Functional Safety Engineer for Automotive SoCs Design Verification

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Functional Safety Engineer to join our organization at ACL-Digital. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the development of safe and reliable automotive System-on-Chip (SoC) designs.

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of ISO 26262 and IEC 61508 standards, including Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Failure Modes Effect and Diagnostic Analysis (FMEDA).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop automotive SoCs, leveraging VLSI design and methodology practices.
  • Utilize Synopsys Functional Safety tools to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Design and develop test plans, test benches, tests, assertions, functional and code coverage, and debug tests and designs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the field of automotive electronics and safety.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.
  • Proven experience with the ISO 26262 / IEC 61508 standard, including hands-on experience with FMEA, FTA, and FMEDA.
  • Familiarity with Synopsys Functional Safety tools.
  • General knowledge in ASIC design process, digital design concepts, design verification tools and techniques, SoC architecture, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in automotive ADAS and self-driving systems.
  • Knowledge of SoC, ARM processor, AMBA bus, DDR, or peripherals.
