Job Title:

Treasury Management Specialist

Job Description:

We seek an experienced treasury professional to manage cash flow, investments, and banking relationships. Key responsibilities include building strong relationships with external stakeholders, preparing loan proposals and credit monitoring arrangement data, and managing due diligence by lenders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong background in treasury management and excellent communication skills (fluent English, clarity in speech)
  • MBA Finance/ACCA/CPA qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Build strong relationships with banking, financial institutions, investors or clients and external stakeholders.
  2. Prepare loan proposals and credit monitoring arrangement data (CMA) for term loan/ ECBs/NCDs/Tier-II Capital/Commercial Papers/Direct Assignment/PTC and other instruments.
  3. Manage temporary liquidity through deployment in short-term investments in fixed deposits, debt funds, CP, CD, short-tenor bonds, etc.
  4. Debt or liability repayment confirmations/follow up for any overdue reporting.
  5. Timely repayment of all debt obligations.
  6. Ensure completeness and accuracy of information before sharing with investors/lenders.
  7. Enabling automation of treasury operations.
  8. Ensuring best practice treasury controls are in place and in compliance with the regulatory guidelines.
  9. Monthly/Quarterly/Half yearly/Annual reporting to investors/lenders/other stakeholders.
  10. Covenant tracking for various lenders.
  11. Providing liquidity position of the Company to the Management.
  12. Execution of transaction banking.
  13. Fund management: identification of idle cash and pooling them into a centralized account for utilization.
  14. Bookkeeping and maintaining register for borrowings.
  15. All month end closing activities.
  16. Cash flow data collation for senior management.
  17. Reports and MIS related to cash flows.
  18. Prepare daily fund closing status, computation of interest income from FD and other investments and reporting of other financial data to aid management decision making.
  19. Act as centric person between treasury team, accounts team and the management.

Desired Candidate Profile:

A highly experienced treasury professional from financial services with MBA Finance/ACCA/CPA qualifications is required.
