Job Description

About the Opportunity

As a seasoned data analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and support financial processes. You will leverage your expertise in data analysis, financial systems, and stakeholder management to influence business decisions and improve financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced data analysis, identify trends, build visualizations, and deliver insights that fulfill the needs of stakeholders across finance functions.
  • Conduct ticket triaging to detect potential misbilling by analyzing transactional data and determining refund or clawback amounts.
  • Provide month-end close support for accounting and finance & strategy teams, including data validation and incident investigation.
  • Coordinate and execute cross-functional projects to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Perform data analysis to support financial audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses to audit requirements.
  • Partner with FinSys engineering teams to define product solutions and contribute to system enhancements.
  • Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to strengthen team capabilities and encourage a culture of continuous learning.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Key Qualifications:

  • 5–8 years of experience in data analysis, with proven exposure to finance/accounting domain.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Solid understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting financial close processes and/or audit requirements.
