Job Overview:

The role of Data Modeler is crucial in the development of world-class products that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of complex transformation programs within data portfolios by working closely with agile, multi-skilled teams.
  • Elicit and analyze business change, functional, and non-functional requirements from various stakeholders to ensure alignment with customer needs.
  • Interface those requirements with cross-asset IT teams to deliver working reconciliation solutions.
  • Produce relevant analysis and modeling artefacts for development teams to enhance product quality.
  • Understand end-to-end user journeys beyond system interfaces to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide advanced business knowledge and technical support for requirements development to bridge gaps between business and technical teams.
  • Create or enhance logical and physical data models adhering to agreed standards to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Maintain data models and undertake metadata analysis to optimize data management.

Requirements:

  • 4-8 years of experience in data analysis or data modeling.
  • Strong financial domain and data analysis skills, including requirement gathering, elicitation, gap analysis, data analysis, effort estimation, reviews, and database designing.
  • Familiarity with SDLC & Agile methodologies to ensure effective project management.
  • A team player with a self-starter approach, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to liaison between business and technical teams.
