Job Title: Embedded Software Developer

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and optimize firmware for wearables and IoT devices.
  • Work on low-power wireless communication protocols (BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee) and wireless charging/power systems.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers on device design, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Implement power management strategies for energy-efficient devices.
  • Debug and troubleshoot firmware issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, test cases, and validation processes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to take concepts from prototype to production.
Must-Have Skills
  • Strong expertise in C/C++ programming.
  • Hands-on experience in firmware development for embedded systems.
  • Knowledge of wireless power technologies (Qi, NFC, RF-based charging).
  • Experience with wearable device platforms (health trackers, smartwatches, fitness devices).
  • Proficiency with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr) and microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, ESP32).
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
  • Experience in device hardware design.
  • Familiarity with sensor integration (motion, biometric, environmental).
  • Understanding of PCB design principles and hardware bring-up.
  • Experience in OTA firmware updates and device provisioning.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms for device connectivity.
