Promote innovation and drive design excellence as a Product Design Development Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Leadership: Develop and design innovative products using CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, and AutoCAD from concept to production release.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, marketing, quality, and supply chain to ensure feasibility, cost, and functionality.
  • Review and Feedback: Lead design reviews, capture feedback, and iterate to improve performance and user value.
  • Documentation and Analysis: Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, GD&T, BOMs, and manufacturing specifications. Analyze performance using simulation tools such as FEA/CFD/motion, prototype and test, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Optimization and Improvement: Apply DFM/DFA and optimization techniques to enhance manufacturability, reliability, and cost.

Requirements:

  • Staying Current: Stay current on materials, processes, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
  • CAD Proficiency: Proficient in CAD; familiar with simulation tools and design optimization methods across the product lifecycle.
  • Industry Experience: Preferably with a strong background experience in Heavy equipment manufacturing Industry, Heavy fabrication industry, Stone Crushing equipment manufacturing industry.
